“There can be no doubt whatever that the peoples of the world, of whatever race or religion, derive their inspiration from one heavenly Source, and are the subjects of one God…”Bahá’u’lláh

The Bahá’í Faith

The Zambian Bahá’í community draws it’s inspiration to contribute to the betterment of society from the laws, principles and teachings of unity enunciated by it’s founder Bahá’u’lláh. Bahá’u’lláh (1817-1892), taught that there is one God who successively reveals His will to Humanity through His Divine messengers. Bahá’ís believe Bahá’u’lláh is the most recent of these messengers. The line of Messengers of God stretches back beyond recorded time and includes Abraham, Moses, Buddha, Krishna, Zoroaster, Christ and Muhammad.

Bahá’u’lláh‘s teaches that humanity is one; that is, despite differences in gender, class, ethnicity or nationality, the human race is essentially one race and all members of the human race are equal in the sight of God.
